Story of hope, Plastic Leaf - English and Urdu

One of the Wonderful Stories
It is said that a girl was lying on her bed, suffering from a severe illness. She asked her older sister, who was looking at the tree outside the window, "How many leaves are left on the tree?" The older sister, with tears in her eyes, replied, "Why are you asking, my dear?" The sick girl responded, "Because I know my days will end with the falling of the last leaf."
The older sister smiled and said, "Until that time comes, we will enjoy our lives and spend beautiful days together." Days passed, the leaves fell, and eventually only one leaf remained. The sick girl kept watching that leaf, believing that the day it fell, her illness would take her life.
Autumn ended, winter arrived, and a year passed, but the leaf did not fall. The girl was happy with her sister and gradually recovered until she was completely healed. The first thing she did was to go see the miraculous leaf that had not fallen.
She discovered that it was a plastic leaf that her sister had tied to the tree.

کہا جاتا ہے کہ ایک لڑکی اپنے بستر پر لیٹی ہوئی تھی اور شدید بیماری میں مبتلا تھی۔
اس نے اپنی بڑی بہن سے، جو کھڑکی کے پاس موجود درخت کو دیکھ رہی تھی، پوچھا: "درخت پر کتنے پتے باقی ہیں؟"
بڑی بہن نے آنکھوں میں آنسو لیے جواب دیا: "کیوں پوچھ رہی ہو، میری جان؟"
بیمار بچی نے جواب دیا: "کیونکہ مجھے معلوم ہے کہ میرے دن آخری پتے کے گرنے کے ساتھ ختم ہو جائیں گے۔"
بڑی بہن نے مسکراتے ہوئے جواب دیا: "تو جب تک وہ وقت نہیں آتا، ہم اپنی زندگی کا لطف اٹھائیں گے اور
خوبصورت دن گزاریں گے۔"
دن گزرتے گئے اور پتے گرتے گئے، اور آخر میں ایک پتہ رہ گیا۔
بیمار بچی اس پتے کو دیکھتی رہی، یہ سمجھتے ہوئے کہ جس دن یہ پتہ گرے گا، بیماری اس کی زندگی ختم کر دے گی۔
خزاں ختم ہو گئی، اس کے بعد سردی آئی اور سال گزر گیا لیکن وہ پتہ نہیں گرا۔
لڑکی اپنی بہن کے ساتھ خوش تھی اور آہستہ آہستہ صحت یاب ہو رہی تھی یہاں تک کہ وہ مکمل طور پر ٹھیک ہو گئی۔
سب سے پہلا کام جو اس نے کیا، وہ یہ تھا کہ اس معجزاتی پتے کو دیکھنے گئی جو نہیں گرا تھا۔
تو اس نے دیکھا کہ وہ ایک پلاسٹک کا پتہ تھا جسے اس کی بہن نے درخت پر باندھ دیا تھا۔

Speech is better than Silence

When Imam Zayn al-‘Abidin (as) was asked which one was better: speech or silence, he answered:  "Both speech and silence have their harmful aspects. If both are free from harm, then speech is more excellent than silence”. It was said: “How is that, O son of the Messenger of Allah”?
