We, the public, are brainwashed zombies ruled by political, religious crooks and traitors

People are being manipulated or controlled without realizing it. Using the term "zombies" metaphorically implies that people might be passively accepting things without questioning them, which could be a reflection of how you see the influence of political or religious figures.

A zombie is a dead person brought back to life without the ability to speak or move easily.

Stockholm syndrome is a proposed condition or theory that tries to explain why hostages sometimes develop a psychological bond with their captors.

Speech is better than Silence

When Imam Zayn al-‘Abidin (as) was asked which one was better: speech or silence, he answered:  "Both speech and silence have their harmful aspects.
